Find your Meta Pixel ID

The Pixel ID is a 15–16 digit number, e.g. 1234567890123456. Dinero uses it to track conversions and build retargeting and lookalike audiences on Facebook and Instagram.

Quickest path if you have Shopify

If you've already connected Meta to Shopify via the "Facebook & Instagram" app, the pixel is already created. Here's how to find the ID:

  1. Open your Shopify admin → Apps → Facebook & Instagram.
  2. Click Settings (or Data sharing).
  3. Scroll to the Meta Pixel or Data tracking section.
  4. You'll see the pixel name and an ID — a 15–16 digit number. Copy the entire number.

Alternative: find it via Meta Events Manager

  1. Go to business.facebook.com/events_manager and log in.
  2. Pick the right Business Manager (top left) if you have several.
  3. In the left menu you'll see your data sources. Click the pixel you want to use.
  4. The Pixel ID appears right under the pixel name at the top — copy it.

Don't have a pixel yet? Click + Connect data sources → Web → follow the wizard. If you have Shopify, it's usually easiest to create the pixel via the Facebook & Instagram app in Shopify — it then installs automatically on your store.

Paste the ID into Dinero

  1. Go to app.dinero.agency/login and log in.
  2. Open Integrations in the menu.
  3. Scroll down to the Meta Pixel field.
  4. Paste the ID and click Save.

The badge turns green "✓ Active" right away. Dinero uses the pixel starting from the next ad cycle.

Common issues

  1. "Save" gives no response: check that you're logged into the correct store.
  2. Badge doesn't turn green: check that you copied the entire number (15–16 digits) and not an account or ad-account ID.
  3. Dinero finds the pixel but conversions aren't logged: the pixel needs to be properly installed on every page of your store. Test with the Meta Pixel Helper (Chrome extension) — it shows immediately whether the pixel fires on the page.
  4. Retargeting isn't activating: Meta needs roughly 100 pixel events in the audience before retargeting can deliver. This often takes a few days of traffic.
